It's that time of year again: Autumn is almost here and the ground is nearly ready for planting! We'll have four more fun community planting events around the Tahoe-Truckee area and we need volunteers to come help plant sugar pines! Please RSVP.\
When & Where:
October 22, 10am-noon: Community Planting @ Dreyfus Estates
Park on Highway 50 south of Skyland Community.
October 29, 10am-noon: Glenbrook Community Planting
Get directions to China Gardens at gate.
November 5, 11am-1pm: Waddle Ranch Community Planting
Meet at Truckee Airport to carpool in Airport Van, OR 4WD needed.
Bring the whole family - planting is fun for everyone! Seedlings, tools, instruction and snacks will be provided.

Volunteer Position Description - Community Planting Leader
Must be 15 years or older to apply. Girls under the age of 18 must have an adult mentor. The Community Planting Leader organizes and manages volunteers to safely and correctly plant trees at schools, parks, and other public locations.
