Catherine Conner
Chair

Catherine is president and CEO of the Cardoza Family Partnership and works for the Cardoza Foundation. Her community involvement includes membership in Omega Nu, board member of Sutter Gold Medical Foundation, Treasurer of St. Vincent de Paul Ministry of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church and a member of the board of trustees for the Center for Human Services. She and her husband have two young daughters. |

Robin Kren
Vice Chair
|
Robin is a first grade teacher at Sacramento Country Day School. She has been a board member with the YMCA of Greater Sacramento for eight years. In addition, she has served on the California Association of Independent Schools Professional Services Committee and is a current board member on the United Corporate Furnishings Board of Directors. Robin was a girl member of Girl Scouts for 11 years.

Barbara Ellis
Treasurer

Barbara is a financial analyst for Sutter Health. Prior to her current position, Barbara was the chief financial officer of Bianchi Plumbing and CFO of Western Blue and assistant vice president and assistant treasurer with CalFarm Insurance Company. She has volunteered at Light of the Hills Lutheran Church where she is a member of the choir and Sunday school teaching staff. She continues to volunteer for both Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts.

Anne Ferguson

Anne is an attorney whose practice focuses on healthcare issues including hospitals, home health agencies, hospices, and medical groups. She is a graduate of the Sacramento Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce Leadership Program. She was formerly on the board of directors of the Sacramento County Bar Healthcare Law Section, the American Lung Association of Sacramento, Breathe California of Sacramento, and the Rotary Club of Sacramento.

Beverly E. Lamb
|
Bev retired as the Program Manager, Sacramento County Children’s Coalition in 2006 but continues to be involved with and an advocate for children and community issues. She is on the Board of Directors, American Leadership Forum and a Co Chair of the United Way Health Impact Council. She has mentored a young girl in foster care for 5 years. Bev was a Girl Scout in Arizona. She earned her Curved Bar which is the equivalent of today’s Gold Award.

Susan J. Sheridan |
Susan is an attorney and owner of the Sheridan Law Corporation with a focus on business and employment law. She is active with the Rotary Club of Sacramento and is currently serving as the Chair of the Trustees of the Rotary Club of Sacramento Foundation. She is a graduate of the Sacramento Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce Leadership Program and is a founding partner of the Business Development Roundtable group. She is active in fundraising for the sports programs at Rio Americano High School in Sacramento. She is also involved professionally with the Sacramento County Bar Association and the Women Lawyers of Sacramento.

Paige Smith
|
Paige is a student at Whitney High School. She is currently serving as the President of the Older Girl Planning Board for the Placer Gold Service Unit. She just earned her Girl Scout Silver Award by creating an event for the entire service unit called “Play Days.” Paige is a part of the council’s Marketing and Communication Intern program and serves as the feature writer who interviews all of our celebrity guests.

Judy Lin

Judy is currently a reporter with the Associated Press. She has an extensive career in print media including a time as a Senior Staff Writer for the Sacramento Bee. She is a graduate of the University of Southern California with a degree in print journalism and history. Judy is the co-president of the Sacramento chapter of the Asian American Journalists Association.

Jan Opie

Jan is employed with Golden State Cellular in Jamestown as the Product Development Manager. Her Girl Scout experience includes serving on the Nominating Committee, chair of the Annual Meeting Committee, and she has served two terms as Member at Large of the board of directors. She was a troop leader and volunteer before joining the board of directors and has taught American Red Cross CPR and First Aid classes for many years. |

Anita Rohn
|
Anita served as a board member for Girl Scouts for many years and as president for six years. She began her Girl Scout experience as a troop leader and also served as recording secretary for Girl Scout Councils of California, which was a coalition of 11 California Girl Scout Councils that had united their approximately 250,000 girls and volunteers in order to shape public policy in California. Anita is an Instructional Assistant in Special Education at Hughson Elementary School and has several grandchildren in Girl Scouts. |

Toni Rubin

Toni recently retired from the California Department of Public Health where she served as the Chief of the COOP/COG and JEOC Training Unit. She has been a trainer for Girl Scouts Heart of Central California for many years including heading the team that developed on-line leader training. Toni has been a National Council Delegate. Toni also volunteers as a member of the Volunteer Emergency Services Team with the Department of Social Services. |

Debra Lee Brown

Debra is the Area Finance Officer for Kaiser Permanente in the Central Valley. She has always been very active in community service starting as a Loaned Executive with the United Way of Alaska. Currently she is a Fellow with American Leadership Forum, Great Valley Chapter in their founding class. She was also a Girl Scout in Daly City and lists as one of her interests coaching and developing future leaders.

Robert Ferriman |
Rob graduated from Babson College in Wellesley, MA. in 1989 with a degree in finance and is Vice President of Private Wealth Management with Robert W. Baird & Co.. He lives in El Dorado Hills with his wife, Connie, daughter, Reese, and son, Dane. Reese is 8 years old and is a Girl Scout Brownie. Connie has been serving as Girl Scout Cookie mom for Reese's troop. |

Princetta Purkins |
Princetta is the Principal at Parklane Elementary School in the Lodi Unified School District. She is a member of the Association of California School Administrators, the Association of Supervision and Curriculum Development and the National Alliance of Black School Educators. She has been an educator since 1993 and has taught various age levels and subjects. |

Patty Estopinal |
Patty has been a successful Girl Scout leader of an older girl troop for the past nine years. Her community involvement includes being a Court Appointed Special Advocate for a foster child and nine years as a Girl Scout leader. She also has 25 years of experience in the financial services industry as a Senior Vice President of Investments at Morgan Stanley Smith Barney. Patty and her husband Andy, have a 22 year old son Michael, and a 19 year old daughter Jamie. |
