Girl Scouts Camp

Resident Camp

Summer camp is about making new friends and growing in independence. It's about learning to appreciate the environment and the surrounding natural beauty; accepting responsibility and caring about others; living and working side by side in small camp communities. It's about self-esteem, about confidence, about growing up. Summer camp: it's about life.

Day Camps

Day camps give girls an opportunity to experience camp life and make new friends without having to travel too far from home. Most day camps are run by volunteers through a Service Unit and rely on volunteers like you. Registration for day camps opens on March 1; be sure to read each day camp’s flyer for specific registration information.

Short Term Resident Camp

Short term resident camps offer girls an opportunity to experience the fun of staying away from home but for a shorter length of time than at resident camp. This summer, girls in grades 7-12 can attend the Yosemite Camp of Service and Girl Scouts in grades 1-12 can attend Camp Golden Timbers. Golden Timbers Camp relies on fabulous adult volunteers like you so to get involved or for more information about either camp, contact the Senior Program Manager Mickey Phillips at mickey.phillips@girlscoutshcc.org.
