Girl Scouts Camp

What is a Day Camp?

Day camps provide 3 to 5 days of themed fun for girls during the summer months. Each girl registers for Day Camps individually and campers are placed into units with girls of a similar age, not necessarily members of their own Girl Scout Troop. Day camps can be held during the day or in the evening and are a great way for girls to gain skills, make friends and have fun in the summer.

Get Involved!

The success of day camps relies on volunteers like you. Many day camps offer incentives to parents who volunteer for the duration of their day camp: sibling and boy units and special pricing for campers. All day camp volunteers are required to attend their day camp’s training to qualify. Read each day camp’s individual flier carefully for specifics on volunteering and what special offers are available to parents who volunteer.
