Girl Scout MarComm Internship

Overview

The Girl Scouts Heart of Central California (GSHCC) Marketing and Communications internship is a fun and memorable experience, including an intensive introduction to marketing, public relations and publication design. Interns will work on a variety of projects including Hear&Now Girl Scout Teen Magazine, marketing, communications, media training, project management, journalism, design, branding, social media and photography.

The deadline to apply is May 23, 2014

Next internship begins on June 9, 2014!
Hear&Now
staff will be required to attend meetings and work in the office June 9 – August 15.

This internship has a maximum capacity of 20 girls and is a yearlong commitment with the majority of the work done in the summer months.

Participants must be entering 10th grade or above to apply.

The Patch

The GSHCC MarComm Internship includes a patch for interns who are accepted and fulfill all requirements of their designated role within the internship.

Even if you are not selected for the summer-intensive Hear&Now staff position you may have the opportunity to flex your talents as an Ambassador Marketing Specialist. Although this role is not full-time, it is still a year-long commitment and can include on-call assistance with Hear&Now tasks, blogging, media appearances, field trips, graphic design, etc. Being an Ambassador Marketing Specialist will provide you with skills that could potentially secure your position on the Hear&Now staff in the future.
