Attention forward-thinkers, problem-solvers, movers and shakers (in other words, Girl Scouts): When you imagine an ideal world for girls—your very own “girltopia”—what does it look like?

Share your passions for change, and see the world through green-tinted glasses in GIRLtopia, just one of seven worlds* of fun, hands-on games and entertainment at our Girl Scouts 100th: Celebrating Green Forever event.

While in GIRLtopia, a variety of activities, demonstrations and friendly competitions guide you through your mission to make your vision of the future a reality.

(NOTE: GIRLtopia contests require pre-registration and are first-come, first-served, so pick your favorite contest and get started now by submitting applications for each!)

Building bridges:

With everyday Popsicle sticks, construct elaborate or simple-but-sturdy bridges in a strength contest. Develop your own big ideas and use your imagination to find creative solutions in this challenging activity. Then, bring in your creations and load them ‘til they bust in our onstage competition. (Deadline to register: March 1, 2012. Click here for your registration packet.)

Put your science skills to the test:

Utilize your science trivia skills by entering a team into this Jeopardy!-style Science Bowl competition. (Deadline to register your team: February 14, 2012. Click here for your registration packet.)

Be prepared to shout it out:

Have something to say? Share your unique vision of the future and hone your public speaking skills by entering a speech contest. Compose an original speech with your answer to the question: “How can Girl Scouts shape the next 100 years?” Contest winners will perform their speeches live onstage in the GIRLtopia world! (Deadline to submit a speech: January 31, 2012. Click here for your registration packet.)

Meet the pros:

Hear true stories from heroes in the fields of science, engineering and technology. How are they currently working to save the environment, curing diseases, creating cutting edge inventions, and advocating for all.
