General Horseback Riding Opportunities at Menzies
Camp Menzies offers basic horseback riding instruction during all of our regular sessions. Campers can select from two levels – beginning and intermediate. The one-hour beginning instruction includes a safety orientation, arena instruction, and a trail ride that is included in the regular camp fee. The two-hour intermediate class, which includes basic horsemanship, horse-handling techniques, safety and a trail ride is offered during our longer sessions and can be chosen for an additional fee. The intermediate class is for an experienced rider. Additional information and sign ups will be included in the camp information packet.
