Girl Scout Week

Girl Scout Week is a time when we shout our Girl Scout pride from the rooftops! This year it commences with Girl Scouts' 111th anniversary on March 12, and we are welcoming our amazing communities to celebrate with us! Join in the Girl Scout Week fun by celebrating a different theme each day. Explore themes below for inspiration on how to show your Girl Scout pride and celebrate what Girl Scouts means to you.

March 12-18: Girl Scout Birthday Week

For 111 years, Girl Scouts have found a way to dream big and do good. From reaching the outer limits of space to stocking their local food pantry, there is no challenge too big or need too small for a Girl Scout to tackle.

Kick of Girl Scout Week by celebrating all things Girl Scouts! From learning about traditions to discovering new interests, there's a lot to love about Girl Scouts. Celebrate Girl Scouts by earning the Girl Scout Way badge.

March 12: Girl Scout Sunday

This first Sunday of Girl Scout Week is also known as Girl Scout Sunday, and is a special day for our Christian members to be recognized at their places of worship during Girl Scout Week.

March 14: Take Action

Girl Scouts know how to give back to their communities and make the world better by taking action! Whether it's working on a Democracy badge or earning your Highest Awards, the opportunities to improve the world are endless.

March 15: Get Outdoors

Getting outside is an essential piece of the Girl Scout experience. There’s no better way to celebrate Girl Scout Week than with exploration and adventure! Check out programs like the Girl Scout Tree Promise to get started!

March 16: #ThrowbackThursday

Girl Scout Week is a great time to reflect back on all of the things you have accomplished so far as a Girl Scout—and all of the amazing friends you have made along the way! Tag us, @girlscoutsHCC, and make sure to use #BecauseofGirlScouts and #GirlScoutWeek2023 when posting.
