Cookie Booths

The Girl Scout Cookie Program is the leading entrepreneurial program for girls around the world. This program is a powerful, hands-on leadership and entrepreneurial program where girls benefit from real-life experience and gain skills such as business management, communication strategies and goal-setting.

Last year, more than 500 businesses throughout Central California helped girls reach their goals by allowing them to set up cookie booths at their location. Cookie booths also drove traffic directly to these businesses therefore also increasing traffic for both the vendors and the Girl Scout troops.

How will it work if I register my location to host a cookie booth?

Girl Scouts Heart of Central California (GSHCC) administrators will use the information you provide (i.e. dates, times, special instructions) on the registration form to create a schedule for your location. This information is then loaded into a secure website so that Girl Scout troop cookie managers can sign up for available time slots. The site makes it easy for troops so that you do not have to manage the schedule or troop leader requests. Troops can easily find your provided instructions in their confirmation so that you are not fielding follow-up questions. Contact information is only provided to Girl Scouts Heart of Central California administrators unless YOU request it be shared with troop cookie managers. Troops show up when you want them and where you want them!

When is Girl Scout Cookie season and when are booth sales?

Girl Scout Cookie season in Heart of Central California starts Jan 11, 2019 and lasts until March 17, 2019. The booth sale period begins on Feb 22, 2019 and ends on March 17, 2019. Your location can opt to be open for cookie booths on dates and times of your choosing from Feb 22-Mar 17. GSHCC will create time slots of 2 hours in length during your available times. We cannot guarantee the number of time slots that will be claimed by troops, and GSHCC may adjust your available hours to a shorter time period that better fits a Girl Scout schedule. For example, if your location is open from 6 am to 11 pm, GSHCC may shorten the available times to 8 am to 9 pm. GSHCC will not lengthen available times. Sample time frames for cookie booths are listed in the registration form.

How does my support impact Girl Scouts?

During the 2018 Cookie Season, we estimate that 1,400 troops and 13,000 Girl Scouts in Central California participated in cookie booth sales at over 500 locations. During that time girls were able to do some amazing things!
