How It Works

Selling Nuts and Candy

Girls can take orders via a nut order card

Girls can send emails with a link to both their Magazines and Nuts & Candy virtual stores. Customers can purchase online with a credit card and have the items shipped directly to them. Local customers can select Girl Delivery and avoid shipping charges. Girl Delivery is for items on the order card only. Customers selecting Direct Ship will have a larger selection of items online.

Selling Magazines

Customers order and pay for magazines online and they will arrive in 6 to 8 weeks.

Product Information and Nutritionals

Girl Scouts connect with friends and family online to offer them magazine subscriptions or renewals at a discounted price. With hundreds of magazines to choose from, there is something for everyone!

The virtual store makes it even easier for girls to reach their goals while learning to utilize technology as a tool, making girls an online entrepreneur. They just need to register online and enter email addresses of friends and family.

Project Share

Project Share is a great opportunity for customers to support their local Girl Scouts and their community. GSHCC will distribute all Project Share items to local food banks.

The Nut & Candy order form includes an option for customers to donate a $7 item. Girls who sell 4 or more Project Share items earn a Care to Share patch.

What are the benefits of participating in the fall product program?

This program is an integral part of a Girl Scouts’ journey toward leadership, learning and developing The 5 Skills. This is an easy and fun way for your troop to prep for the Girl Scout Cookie Program. Girls and troops will learn and practice inventory management, reward distribution, money collection and financial tracking. Girls will be able to practice their online marketing skills as well.

How do I participate in the fall product program?

Troops must have 2 unrelated leaders and a fall product manager selected in MyGS and registered for the 2021 membership year. Product managers must sign a Volunteer Position Agreement and complete training with their service unit or online using their gsLearn account. Troops are required to have a valid bank account and submit information by October 5, 2020 using the ACH Authorization Form.

Girl Scouts in participating troops who wish to participate in the program must be registered for the 2021 membership year and have a signed Parent Permission & Responsibility Form on file with their troop fall product manager.

Can Juliettes/Individually Registered Girl Members participate?

Juliettes/Individually Registered Girl Members can participate via Direct Ship and Girl Delivery orders only. GSHCC will act as their “troop fall product manager” and ensure orders and rewards are entered into the M2 system. Girls must have a signed Parent Permission & Responsibility Form prior to beginning sales and being uploaded into the M2 system. Girls choosing to participate in this manner agree to abide by all program deadlines, communicate with GSHCC prior to deadlines and to pick up product and rewards in a timely manner in November. Families agree to pick up items within a week from the delivery date. Rewards and product will be delivered to the week of November 11 – November 18. If you wish to participate in this manner or have further questions, please contact customer care at

My troop is not participating in the fall product program. Can my Girl Scout still participate?

Work with your troop to verify that your troop meets eligibility requirements. Participation in the program is easy! Troops can participate in-person, online or both depending on the time commitment your troop wants. If your girl wishes to participate and your troop has not identified a fall product manager, please contact customer care at

Is participation in the fall product program required?

No, girls/troops can choose to participate in all, one or no components of the program. However, girls learn valuable lessons in online marketing, decision making, goal setting, business ethics, people skills and money management. Troops will learn and practice inventory management, reward distribution, money collection and financial tracking. The fall product program is an easy and fun way to prep for the cookie program!

I am concerned about COVD-19. Is it safe to participate in the program?

Member and girl safety is our top priority. The Girl Scout Fall Product Program is a friends and family sale that is an integral part of a Girl Scouts’ journey toward leadership, learning and developing The 5 Skills. We highly encourage girls to take advantage of our Girl Delivery option for touchless transactions. Customers pay for products online so there is no physical money handling. Girls will deliver product in November, maintaining that personal connection. Girls are encouraged to practice social distancing, wear gloves and ensure they are following state and local guidelines no matter how they are participating.

When is the deadline to participate?

Troops and Girl Scout can participate at any time as long as they meet participation requirements. Troops must submit banking information no later than October 5, 2020. Troops will not be uploaded into the M2 system after the deadline.

What is the M2 system?  What happened to UNIFY and why don't I see any "And More" items (tumblers, candles, etc.)?

We are excited to announce that GSHCC will be partnering with M2 as our magazine vendor, simplified participation and improved customer service. Our council previously partnered with QSP as our vendor for magazines and the “And More” items.  Due to that change, the fall product program will no longer offer the “And More” items.

How much does my Girl Scout earn in proceeds? What about my troop?

Troops earn proceeds, girls earn individual rewards. Visit the rewards section for individual girl rewards and additional troop rewards. Troops earn 10% proceeds for all sales. Older girl troops comprised solely of Cadettes, Seniors and/or Ambassadors can opt out of rewards and earn 20% proceeds. Girls in troops opting for Older Girl Proceeds can also earn patches. Troops wishing to opt for Older Girl Proceeds must do so by October 20. Once Older Girl Proceeds have been selected, the plan cannot be changed so please ensure your troop wishes to opt out of rewards prior to doing so in the system.

When will my Girl Scout receive her rewards?

Rewards are sent to service unit fall product managers along with product the week of November 11 – November 18. Delivery dates and times will vary by service unit. Please work with your troop and service unit fall product managers for reward and product distribution.

How do girls qualify for the personalized patch? When will they receive it?
Girls can earn a personalized patch by meeting the following requirement:

  • Create their avatar
  • Send 15+ emails
  • Sell $250+ in total fall sales

Girls will be sent an email link to create their patch once they earn it. Please ensure you click the link and submit your patch as patches will not be mailed if they are not submitted. Patches will be mailed directly to girls 4-6 weeks after submission. If you have questions, please call 800.372.8520 or email

I need help using the M2 system.

Visit the training and resources section of the website or the GSHCC app for Just in Time trainings designed to walk you through the M2 system. There is also a training video in the M2 system. Still need help? Contact your fall product manager or M2 customer service at 800.372.8520 or email
