Do you have a mountain bike and need some help getting started? Are you ready to get your wheels off the sidewalk and onto gravel and dirt? Girl Scouts and Dirt Series get you pedaling with confidence! This clinic is for beginners and professional mountain bikers and will show Girl Scouts the basics before hitting a mountain bike trail. A mountain bike is not needed to participate, please bring a functioning bike with handbrakes (no coaster/back brakes) and gears that shift to the clinic. Our Dirt Series Try It Clinic is a 3-hour skills session for new riders looking to increase their skills and open up new terrain. This program will take place at a park that offers a controlled environment for all skill levels. This clinic will teach participants about coasting on a bike and feeling comfortable with essential balance, pedaling, and brake usage. Girl Scouts will build skills, grow confidence and refine technique.
