Brownies - Ambassadors:Learn all about STEM with Amazon! Come and see how female employees are building the future, using cutting-edge technology and data to get customer items to them as quickly, safely, and efficiently as possible.
GSUSA has partnered with Amazon to create customized Amazon Fulfillment Center Tours where girls can witness STEM-in-action in a workplace environment. These in-person tours will be open to girls grades 2-12, and provide girls the opportunity to meet women in STEM roles and learn about their career paths. Participating Girl Scouts will earn a limited-edition GSUSA and Amazon co-branded patch. Register for a tour date on the 3rd party link, new dates are added each month! Program Fee: free for girls and chaperones
Program fee includes: In-person tour, a space for Girl Scouts to make new friends, and a limited edition fun patch.
Supplies Needed:
- Girl Scout vest (if desired)
- All guests must wear flat, closed-toed, and closed-heeled shoes (no sandals, clogs or high heels). We recommend wearing comfortable shoes or sneakers.
- Long hair must be pulled at or above shoulder length. Loose fitting clothing (long-hanging jewelry, scarves, or ties) are not permitted. Headscarves worn for religious reasons are permitted but must be tucked in securely.
- For participants 18 or over, photo ID is required.
Event Disclaimer: Early arrival is strongly recommended. Plan to arrive 15 minutes prior to your tour. If guests do not arrive on time, the tour will start without you. Once the tour has begun, guests will not be able to join the tour. Each tour is approximately 60-90 minutes long. On the tour you may walk up and down at least one flight of stairs and walk approximately 1 mile. Children must be six years of age or older to attend the tour. Visitors may not carry young children on the tour.
