This virtual workshop is for Girls Scout Seniors and Ambassadors (grades 9 12) and their adult advisors; Parent, Troop Leader or Girl Scout Mentor. It is designed to prepare you for success as you work to earn your Girl Scout Gold Award. We will review the award requirements, discuss ideas for projects, learn the criteria to get project proposals quickly approved, submission deadlines and guidelines for money-earning.
Program facilitated by: GSHCC Staff

Not a member? Join
now and save! Become a member before registering for
this event to take advantage of our member pricing, plus save on other
GSHCC events for the rest of the year! A Girl Scout membership is $25
a year. A membership year runs from October to September.
To prepare: It is not necessary to have your own
Zoom account, but we DO recommend installing the Zoom Client App. This
can be done ahead of time at this link: https://zoom.us/download. We
do not recommend choosing join from browser as the quality is often
lower. Make sure your internet is strong: For best quality, turn off
other devices that are using your internet connection. The closer you
are to your modem, the stronger the connection will be. Join early!
Join the class up to 10 minutes before the start time to say hi to the
instructor and chat with other participants if you wish. This also
allows time to work through any technical difficulties. For
cyber-security, please change your screen name to the name you
registered with. Type your name in the chat as part of taking roll.
Enjoy the class! Please be sure to be muted and class will start
promptly at the scheduled time.
Cancellations:
Once in a while, GSHCC may have to cancel an event. In the event
that Girl Scouts Heart of Central California finds it necessary to
cancel an activity or training, all troops/groups or individuals
having submitted registrations and payments will receive a full
refund.
Note: In the event of extenuating
circumstances such as illnesses, deaths in the immediate family and
other catastrophic events, GSHCC will consider refunds on a
case-by-case basis.
All refund requests should be submitted in
writing to Customer Care.
