Your little girl is taking BIG steps! Naturally, you want to do everything you can to prepare her for school. That’s where Girl Scouts comes in. We’ll help prepare her for all the new friends, new responsibilities, and for the big changes school will bring.

  • Girls entering Kindergarten in Fall 2022 will be eligible to join starting in April 2022. 
  • Girls already in Kindergarten and First grade are eligible to become Girl Scout Daisies right now.

WHAT IS GIRL SCOUTS?

Our Girl Scout Leadership Experience is a one-of-a-kind leadership development program for girls, with proven results. It is based on time-tested methods and research-backed programming that help girls take the lead—in their own lives and in the world. 

Research shows that girls learn best in an all-girl, girl-led, and girl-friendly environment. Girl Scouts is a place where she’ll practice different skills, explore her potential, take on leadership positions—and even feel allowed to fail, dust herself off, get up, and try again.

A VIRTUAL WORLD

GSHCC is currently running both in-person and virtual events. If you’re interested in virtual participation, the same 100+ year program is available online, with at-home activities and adventures, and interactive webinars. Visit the GSHCC Virtual Blog to learn what is new in the virtual world.

STEM

STEM AND YOUR GIRL

We have two STEM Center + MakeSpaces (in Sacramento and Modesto) and one mobile STEM Center + MakerSpace that offer programs in STEM for your girl. As we are virtual right now, you can check out our STEM offerings online: girlscoutshcc.org/activities.
