Girl Scouts After-School Clubs Key Features
We offer curriculum that aligns with district expanded learning priorities and features interactive activities that make real-life connections with all four program pillars:
- Facilitated by trained, passionate GSHCC staff who serve as strong role models to youth in your community.
- Interactive activities that make real-life connections with all four program pillars.
- Currently open to elementary-age youth (specific enrollment caps and age levels vary by district).
- Hands-on, developmentally appropriate, youth-approved curriculum.
- Support for K-12 youth as they develop critical life skills and prepare to transition into adulthood.
- All-inclusive programs (including uniforms) at no cost to families, with optional parent engagement.
- A visit from the STEAM Mobile Unit, a 30-foot center on wheels with hands-on learning activities.
In addition to offering a well-rounded academic year after-school curriculum facilitated by GSHCC staff, your girls may have the option to participate in the Girl Scout Cookie Program, Outdoor Adventure Campout, summer camp, and other special events and workshops throughout the year. All program options align seamlessly with Quality Standards for Expanded Learning in California.
