Aprell served as an After-School Facilitator for over a year before stepping into her current role as a Programming Specialist. Drawing on her experience as a substitute teacher, she brings a thoughtful and dynamic approach to creating meaningful experiences for children from all communities.
A California native, Aprell is a strong advocate for diversity and equality. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in American Sign Language/Deaf Studies, with a minor in Childhood Development, from California State University, Sacramento. Her involvement with the Deaf community has deepened her understanding of advocacy and the importance of taking action to support underrepresented groups.
Aprell is passionate about fostering inclusive spaces where every child has the opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive through Girl Scouts.
