Registration & Financial Assistance


Upon completion of the registration process, you will see a detailed receipt on your screen. This is your activity registration confirmation; if you do not automatically receive a detailed receipt, you have not completed the registration process. For some events, additional confirmations will be sent via email with more activity information.

To view events you are registered for, log in to MyGS and click MyActivities. Clicking the information icon next to each event will provide you additional information.

Financial Assistance 

Financial assistance is available to those with true financial hardship and is awarded on a first come, first served basis. Funds are limited, however every effort is made that no one is denied participation.

To request financial assistance, please proceed to register for your desired activities, and click the "Financial Assistance" box at the time of checkout. Next, You will receive an email with the link to the financial assistance request form.

Requesting Financial Assistance?
Only individuals can request financial assistance, troops cannot request financial assistance on behalf of their members.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

Can’t make it? No problem. Submit an email to customer care and let us know, so we can issue you a refund and open the spot for another member.

The refund policies are as follows:


Girl Experience • Training • Troop Camp • Family Camp

  • If the activity requires a deposit, deposits are non-refundable.
  • You may swap participants up until the day of the activity.
  • Refunds will not be given for activities or training fees of $5 and less.
  • All other activities will be processed as follows:
    • 21 calendar days before the activity – 100%
    • 12-20 calendar days before the activity – 50%
    • 11 or fewer calendar days before the activity – No refunds

Council Sponsored Travel Experiences
(Including domestic/international Destinations for girls.)

  • If the activity requires a deposit, deposits are non-refundable.
  • Once group tickets (airline, hotel, facility admissions) have been purchased, refunds cannot be issued. (Depending on the activity, participant swaps may be permitted; contact customer care to inquire.)
  • See the activity description to view activity-specific refund policy.  If no refund policy is listed, the travel refund policy, as written, will apply.

Council Cancellations

Once in a while, GSHCC may have to cancel an event. In the event that Girl Scouts Heart of Central California finds it necessary to cancel an activity or training, all troops/groups or individuals having submitted registrations and payments will receive a full refund.

Note: In the event of extenuating circumstances such as illnesses, deaths in the immediate family and other catastrophic events, GSHCC will consider refunds on a case-by-case basis. Refund requests should be submitted in writing to customer care.
