Expeditions are traveling summer experiences, hosted by GSHCC staff and our Outdoor Program Partners. Exclusively for older girls, these programs combine adventure, service and leadership–resulting in lifelong memories. “Girl-led” rings true in these programs as girls design and implement aspects of the experience along the way. Our expeditions combine exciting adventure opportunities, traditional camping elements and community service. Girls have gone to Yosemite to enjoy the natural beauty, and assisted park rangers with making sure it stays beautiful for others to enjoy. At Lassen Volcanic National Park, girls have explored the peaks, active hydrothermal areas and worked with researchers to take water samples. Imagination, innovation and environmental impact come together at GSHCC Expeditions.
Each expedition is uniquely designed to expose girls to new cities, parks and communities. With so much to explore, these programs don’t visit GSHCC properties. All expeditions have been adapted to meet GSHCC and government COVID-19 safety protocols.
Don’t wait to register, registration closes as soon as May 11th for some expeditions!
