Are you ready for an empowering, girl-led week at Camp Menzies? This exciting session invites you to help shape the camp schedule alongside our wonderful staff and counselors in training. Girl Scouts can collaborate with their cabin mates to choose badge activities that interest you. Together, the entire camp will create a unique, ad-lib storyline that fills every moment with fun and creativity. Who knows? Your contributions might even inspire a new camp theme for 2026!

Badges Earned: Age Level Specific: Camper Badge, GS Way Badge, and and each cabin will pick a badge within their Girl Scout level to work on together!
Activities are tailored to specific age groups and include: target sports, canoeing, games, horseback riding (one trail ride), outdoor skills, STEM, swimming, songs, crafts, all-camp event, themed meal, meadow sleepout (optional), and a polar bear swim (optional). Campers in grades 4-8 sleep in rustic cabins on bunk beds. Campers in grades 9-12 get an authentic camping experience sleeping in tents.

Program Fee: $650 for members.

3. Log in or create an account for CampDoc

4. Choose your camp and register through CampDoc.

Camp Menzies Cancellation Policy: 

  • Camps require a deposit upon registration; these deposits are non-refundable. 
  • If cancellation notification is given to GSHCC customer care team more than 4 weeks (28 calendar days) in advance of camp starting, then a full refund will be issued, minus the deposit. 
  • If cancellation notification is given to the customer care team less than 4 weeks (28 calendar days) in advance of camp starting, then no refund will be issued, unless it qualifies as an extenuating circumstance. 
  • In the event of extenuating circumstances such as illnesses, deaths in the immediate family, and other catastrophic events, GSHCC will consider refunds on a case-by-case basis. Refund requests must be submitted in writing to the GSHCC customer care team.
  • In the event that the council finds it necessary to cancel an activity or training, all troops/groups or individuals having submitted registrations and payments will receive a full refund.
