Our CIT/WIT programs are an amazing opportunity for young leaders to gain confidence and leadership skills! Each session is specifically tailored to the attending CIT/WITs and designed as a comprehensive learning experience where campers can grow their leadership skill set. All participants in the CIT/WIT programs will gain interview practice by engaging in a pre-summer or on-site interview with our Leadership Program Manager or Assistant Camp Director. Throughout their session they will learn and practice communication, conflict management, problem solving, group facilitation, and countless other leadership skills! Through hands-on experience, leadership activities, and guidance from Camp Menzies' mentorship staff, CIT/WIT campers will exit the three-step program with the ability to design curriculum, lead effectively, and will be prepared for any work environment! Camp Menzies is a safe and supportive place where young leaders learn from mistakes and explore their interests, all while developing a strong sense of self and lifelong skills. Who knows? They may even end up working at camp!
