Complete all prerequisites, including the self-paced, online Silver Award training that can be found in gsLearn. Fill out our form to request Older Girl access to gsLearn.
Identify an issue you care about.
Build your Girl Scout Silver Award team or decide to go solo.
Explore your community and think of how that issue affects your community.
Choose a Silver Award project that can lead to lasting change.
Download the Silver Award checklist and mark off all of the elements as you complete them in your Project Proposal and Final Report to meet the GSUSA Silver Award standards.
Make your plan and then fill out your project proposal.
Next, submit your proposal to Girl Scouts Heart of Central California by emailing it as a PDF to awards@girlscoutshcc.org. Groups should all work on the same form. Please save your completed form so that you can make edits should your proposal receive any feedback.
Once your proposal receives approval, put your plan into motion.
Document your process with photos, videos and journaling.
- Fill out your Final Report.
- When your project is complete and you have completed your Final Report, submit it to Girl Scouts Heart of Central California by emailing it as a PDF to awards@girlscoutshcc.org.
