Join us for an outdoor learning weekend for all ages! Adults will be able to choose from a variety of workshops and trainings (see options below). Have a Daisy, Brownie, or Junior? Bring them along for classic camp experiences while you brush up on your skills! In the evenings spend time with your girl scout and put your new skills to the test with an outdoor cooking event accompanied by songs and skits around the campfire. This is a great opportunity to spend time with your girl scout while developing your outdoor skills!

Badge Connections: Girl Scout Cadettes, Seniors and Ambassadors will be able to choose which workshops and/or trainings they participate in. Girl Scout Daisies, Brownies and Juniors will be able to work on steps from a selection of outdoor badges while their adults are completing training.

Program facilitated by: GSHCC staff and volunteers

Program Fee: $60 - $95 girl and adult members.

Program Fee Includes: Fee includes lodging, meals, and workshop materials. Certain workshops may have additional fees.

  • Option A Friday 5:00 p.m. - Sunday 12:30 p.m. Sept. 19-21 $95 (6 meals)
    Option B Saturday 9:00 a.m. (w/o breakfast) - Sunday 12:30 p.m. Sept. 20-21 $75 (4 meals)
    Option C: Saturday 9:00 a.m. (w/o breakfast) - Saturday 8:00 p.m. Sept. 20  $60 (2 meals)

Important Details: 

  • REGISTRATION WILL CLOSE WHEN CAPACITY IS REACHED OR ON SEPTEMBER 12, 2025, WHICHEVER COMES FIRST.
  • Cancellations are subject to the GSHCC Event Cancellation policy.

  • Once registered there will be a document available under your "My Events" tab with details on selecting your workshops and training.
  • If you have a special health requirement for a lower bunk or other bed requirement or special dietary needs, please indicate this in the special notes section of your workshop selection form.

Supplies Needed: Full supply list will be sent two weeks prior to the event.

General Location: Camp Connell, CA

  • Exact address can be found in your MYGS after registering for the event, and will also be included in the information letter.

Adult Supervision: Attending adults must register for the event. 

  • Girl Scout Daisies, Brownies, Juniors and Cadettes must have registered adults attending. 
  • Girl Scout Seniors and Ambassadors may register to attend as an individual without an adult chaperone.

Essential Eligibility Criteria: GSHCC programs provide an inclusive environment to all girls. Please reference our general Essential Eligibility Criteria for details about classroom and outdoor-focused activities that will help you identify the skills needed to participate in programs successfully. 
Please contact customer care if you are unsure whether or not you meet the criteria, or if you need a reasonable accommodation.

Registration: A minimum of 25 registered participants are required to hold this event. In the event that the minimum is not met, you will be notified before the event date, and a full refund will be processed.

 

Media Release Disclaimer: There may be photos or video taken during this event. By registering for this event, you give permission for GSHCC and GSHCC program partners to use photos/videos of your girl to promote Girl Scouts. If you would like to opt out of photographs/videos, please notify staff at event check-in.
 

Information Letter: Once you have registered you can find the information letter at least 2 weeks before the event date, by logging in to your My Account, go to My Events and select the event. Scroll to the bottom of the page to find the information letter under Additional Documentation. An email will be sent out 1 week before the scheduled event with the information letter for the event. If you register after this time, you will need to go through your My Account to get the information letter or reach out to customer care.

Troop Treasure: After registering, please follow the instructions on this form to pay with Troop Treasure.

Financial Aid: Financial assistance is available to girls/adults that have current memberships with Girl Scouts Heart of Central California. Payee must submit the Financial Aid Request form after registering to finalize your request. Requests must be submitted at least 2 weeks before the event date. You may still be responsible for a portion of the fees. 

Cancellation Policy: 

  • If the activity requires a deposit, deposits are non-refundable.
  • Refunds will not be given for in-person activities or training fees of $5 and less.
  • All other activities will be processed as follows:
    • 21 calendar days before the activity - 100%
    • 12-20 calendar days before the activity - 50%
    • 11 or fewer calendar days before the activity - No refunds

Once in a while, GSHCC may have to cancel an event. If Girl Scouts Heart of Central California finds it necessary to cancel an activity or training, all troops/groups or individuals having submitted registrations and payments will receive a full refund.
Note: In the event of extenuating circumstances such as illnesses, deaths in the immediate family, and other catastrophic events, GSHCC will consider refunds on a case-by-case basis.
All refund requests should be submitted in writing to Customer Care.
