Girl Scouts- get ready to set sail with Call of the Sea! Take the vessel out on the open water and test your skills! Girls will learn about "SEAS" science, engineering, art, and sailing. Learning objectives include the following: Knots and rope art, Navigation, simple machines, ocean observations, and seamanship: steering the ship, learning to coil lines, and exploring traditional sailing techniques for ages 12 and up. Youth under age 16 must be accompanied by a chaperone in a ratio of no more than 8 youth to 1 adult (troop leader or parent/guardian).
