All Ages! Join us as we celebrate 80 years of Girl Scout camping at Camp Menzies! From campfires and hikes to songs under the stars, generations have made memories here. Reconnect with friends, share stories, and create new memories while enjoying classic camp fun, special anniversary activities, and plenty of Menzies magic. Participants will also enjoy hands-on outdoor experiences that build skills-from climbing the rock wall and swimming in the lake to camping and exploring nature.

Participants are responsible for arranging their own transportation to and from camp, bringing all necessary personal and group gear, and providing their own food. Each group must also ensure appropriate adult supervision in accordance with current Girl Scout ratio standards.

NOTICE: Your spot is not reserved until a payment is made. This includes participants requesting Financial Aid or Troop Treasure. We recommend paying the deposit to reserve your spot immediately.

Please read through the full event description as it contains important information for the event.

Important Event Details:

  • Spots are limited for this event.
  • The event is divided into trails, each having a key outdoor theme and activities that support that theme. A troop/group must decide as a whole which trail they would like to participate in, and all troop members should register for that specific trail. Multi-level troops are encouraged to register. If their ages are separated, please have at least one adult registered for each trail.
  • Each trail is provided with different housing accommodations.
  • Note: 6th-12th grade groups should anticipate sleeping in tents unless otherwise communicated.
  • Cabins and yurts are shared accommodations and you may be paired with other groups.
  • Each troop/group must be accompanied by an adult who is First Aid/CPR certified, background checked, and an additional Camp Certified Adult.

Optional Opportunities: Seperate registration is required for the optional opportunity listed below.

  • Friday Night Arrival - Interested in beginning your adventure early? See Friday Arrival 80 Years of Menzies Magic: Jun. 26 on the Activities Calendar to Register for this $15 per person add-on.

Registration Dates: Registration will open on March 7, 2026 and close June 5, 2026 or when full.

  • Please note we cannot accomodate late registration due to availibility and scheduling each trail.

Badge Connection: This event offers many activities that can count toward several outdoor badges. Have your troop decide which outdoor badges they want to work on during the event. In the spirit of being girl-led, girls should be choosing the badges they want to earn and tracking what activities they participate in so they can apply them to the badge work.

Program facilitated by: GSHCC Staff, Community Partners and Volunteers
