Get ready for an unforgettable weekend packed with adventure, friendship, and fun! Cadettes will take on outdoor challenges, try new skills, and participate in general camp fun, while also gaining insight into Leadership Awards and pathways for character development. From campfire skits and archery to cooking, hiking, and building lasting memories under the stars on a night hike, this camporee is all about discovery, confidence, and the magic of growing together in the great outdoors. Activities will include archery, arts 'n' crafts, hiking, songs and more! 

NOTICE: Your spot is not reserved until a payment is made. This includes participants requesting Financial Aid or Troop Treasure. We recommend paying the deposit to reserve your spot immediately.

Program facilitated by: GSHCC staff and volunteers.

Program Fees:

  • PAs and Junior Counselors: Friday, May 22 - Monday, May 25. $110 per girl. $85 per adult (7 meals).
  • Rising Cadettes: Saturday, May 23 - Sunday, May 24. $110 per girl. $85 per adult (6 meals).
  • Day and Expo: Saturday, May 23. $35 per girl and adult.(1 meal).

Program Fee Includes: Staff-guided activities, staff certified in first aid, program supplies, meals, lodging, and a fun patch.

Important Event Details: 

  • Spots are limited for this event. 
  • Adult male registered volunteers are welcome to bring and camp in tents.
  • Must provide own transportation to and from the event.
  • Campers must be accompanied by a registered adult member with a current background check and must bring enough adults to provide ratio. 
  • REGISTRATION WILL CLOSE WHEN CAPACITY IS REACHED OR ON MAY 8, 2026, WHICHEVER COMES FIRST. Cancellations are subject to the GSHCC Event Cancellation policy. 

Available to adult participants: Troop Camp Certification Part 2 and Introduction to Camporee Leadership. (Complete Basic Troop Camp Certification Part 1 in gsLearn before the event).
Available for Cadettes: Outdoor Program Aide Training (OPA).
Available to Program Aides and Junior Counselors: This event will fulfill much of the hands-on practicing leadership portions of the PA and VIT Teaching Leadership Awards. There will also be time to participate in general camp activities.

Schedule:

  • Friday Evening: Those who register as Junior Counselors and 8th-12th grade Program Aides (PAs) arrive by 6:00pm on Friday to prepare to lead portions of the weekend's event and get to know each other. Eat on the road or bring your dinner. 
  • Saturday: Adults: Basic Troop Camp Certification: Part 2, Introduction to Camporee Leadership or a topic discussion on Leading Girl Scout troops through middle school and beyond. Cadettes: 'Welcome to Cadettes' workshops on navigating middle school friendships and self-image, Expo time for exploring what older Girl Scouts do, mixed in with fun camp activities: crafts and outdoor games. Those staying through the weekend join us on an after-dinner Night Hike on Camp Fleming property.
  • Sunday: Continue the fun while learning outdoor skills during Outdoor Program Aide training, archery, crafts, games and preparing your songs and skits for that night's campfire.
  • Monday: Experience Rededication and Scout's Own ceremonies after breakfast, exchange your SWAPS and then it's time to pack, clean up and say 'see you later' to new friends.

Supplies Needed: 

  • Bring your own equipment including sleeping bags, toiletries, etc.
  • Full supply list will be sent two weeks prior to the event.

Adult Supervision: Girl Scout Program Aids and Cadettes must have registered adults attending. 

  • Attending adults must register for the event. 
  • Girl Scout Seniors and Ambassadors may register to attend as an individual without an adult chaperone.

General Location: Somerset, CA

  • Exact address can be found in your MYGS after registering for the event, and will also be included in the information letter.

Registration: A minimum of 35 registered Girl participants are required to hold this event. If  the minimum is not met, you will be notified before the event date, and a full refund will be processed. 

Media Release Disclaimer: There may be photos or video taken during this event. By registering for this event, you give permission for GSHCC and GSHCC program partners to use photos/videos of your girl to promote Girl Scouts. If you would like to opt out of photographs/videos, please notify staff at event check-in.
 

Information Letter: Once you have registered you can find the information letter at least 2 weeks before the event date, by logging in to your My Account, go to My Events and select the event. Scroll to the bottom of the page to find the information letter under Additional Documentation. An email will be sent out 1 week before the scheduled event with the information letter for the event. If you register after this time, you will need to go through your My Account to get the information letter or reach out to customer care.

Troop Treasure: After registering, please follow the instructions on this form to request to pay with Troop Treasure.

Financial Aid: Financial assistance is available to girls/adults that have current memberships with Girl Scouts Heart of Central California. Payee must submit the Financial Aid Request form after registering to finalize your request. Requests must be submitted at least 2 weeks before the event date. You may still be responsible for a portion of the fees.

Cancellation Policy:

  • If the activity requires a deposit, deposits are non-refundable.
  • Refunds will not be given for in person activities or training fees of $5 and less.
  • All other activities will be processed as follows:
  • 21 calendar days before the activity - 100%
  • 12-20 calendar days before the activity - 50%
  • 11 or fewer calendar days before the activity - No refunds

Once in a while, GSHCC may have to cancel an event. In the event that Girl Scouts Heart of Central California finds it necessary to cancel an activity or training, all troops/groups or individuals having submitted registrations and payments will receive a full refund.

Note:In the event of extenuating circumstances such as illnesses, deaths in the immediate family and other catastrophic events, GSHCC will consider refunds on a case-by-case basis.
