Are you ready for camp?
We’re so excited that you’ve chosen to camp with Girl Scouts Heart of Central California! Girl Scouts has over 100 years of experience in providing excellent, safe camp experiences, and our camp professionals work hard to ensure your camper has a great experience.
If you are attending GSHCC’s Camp Menzies, please follow the steps below. And, for volunteer- and partner-run camps, the camp organizers will reach out to you about preparing for your session. If the time is near for your session and you haven’t heard from your camp organizer, please contact GSHCC Customer Care to inquire.
Complete required camp forms.
Participants will not be able to check-in for their stay at camp without a completed Health Profile in “CampDoc.” All campers must have a completed CampDoc health profile four weeks before camp session.
Get your camper prepared for the best summer ever!
Have you read through GSHCC’s list of frequently-asked questions about camp? This list answers questions about medications, food allergies, birthdays at camp, and more. If you still have questions or concerns contact Customer Care.
Look out for Bus Day info.
Girl Scouts are transported to Camp Menzies via buses from three locations – Sacramento, Modesto, and Angel’s Camp. Keep an eye out for information about bus day info sent out via email about four weeks before your Girl Scout’s camp session starts.
Review the packing list for your camp, and make sure you are prepared and packed for camp.
After you register your Girl Scout for Camp Menzies, you will receive an email from GSHCC with instructions on how to set up your CampDoc account.
Once you register for CampDoc, you'll receive a “Welcome Invite email” from CampDoc.com with information about how to complete your camper’s health information. These emails are usually sent within one to two weeks of completing your camp registration. Please set firstname.lastname@example.org as a safe sender by adding the address in your contacts to avoid accidental delivery to junk and spam folders.
